Alternative Servo-Motor/Energy-Saving Solution, More User-Friendly Operatio

Servo-Motor adoption in plastic injection molding machine is a perfect solution to cut the energy cost during the long time & continuous production, which has been gotten the perfect result from Smargon plastic injection molding machine with Rexroth servo & IndraDrive digital drives system(Please kindly refer to Smargon News Vol.02, 20090315).
Just as mentioned in SmargonNews Volume.02, Smargon were working with an alternative solution to not only reach a perfect energy-saving end, but get the easy operation & maintenance which were the most important for both end users and Smargon. The result is SMSV servo-motor/energy-saving injection molding machine, presented in Chinaplas2009. Easy operation, quick start-up, the operation & control & adjustment for the whole machine including the servo motor will be done easily via same operator pages, more easily, save the operator¡¯s time & energy.
Note: Although new solution has the advantages comparing with Rexroth servo-motor adoption injection molding machine, Smargon will keep Rexroth servo-motor solution as back-up to serve for the customer¡¯s various requirement for components adoption.

Advanced Synchronous Servo Motor, Energy Saving

High performance brushless servomotors(Thor Tech, USA) offering the highest dynamic performance and power density, low heating occur, reliability, delivers maximum power and performance in an ultra-compact design and characterized by dynamics, a high torque density and an extremely high degree of precision due to new optical encoder systems. What¡¯s more, with quick response and steady capability, servo gear shift dynamical control system has equipped with pressure feedback device with high precision and sensitivity, which forms a close-loop precision control and provide products with high stability for customers.

Advanced Drive Controller, High Execution & Dynamics

Top-class drive controller(LUST or SIEMENS) from Germany are adopted and consists of two essential parts: Power section and Control section, which are designed to control electrical motor and monitor its operation, control and monitoring of the motors may require additional sensors and actors, and then to make it possible for the motor to execute the specific functions of injection molding application.

To control the motor speed and/or to position the motor, the drive controller requires information on the current rotor position. To achieve this, the integrated encoder unit makes the appropriate signals available to the drive controller.

Close-Loop Control, Precise Movement

The flexible, modular drive system for sophisticated tasks during the plastic injection molding process, provides with an integrated functionality for absolute and relative positioning of linear and rotary axes with motor encoder and machine encoder, provides powerful and precise positioning functions. Due to its high flexibility and superior adaptability, the basic positioner can be used for a large range of positioning applications.

Rotary encoder, pressure sensor, and both of them had feed back of flow and pressure. Through changing the speed and torque, high quality synchronous servo motor makes corresponding flow and pressure adjustments to reach the effects of close-loop precision control and energy-saving.

Gear Pump Cooperated, Precision Position & High Efficiency

The innovative gap compensated internal gear pumps (ECKEERLE or VOITH, Germany)with a steady volumetric flow rate are adopted. The meshing length of the gear cogs causes an only slight pulsation of either the system pressure or the volume flow rate, which is fundamental for silence & cost-effective operation. To attain the energy-saving via internal gear pumps with high efficiencies, low and high-pressure systems with automatic change-over technology, high quality & performance is the key.
The high rates of efficiency thanks to gap compensation allow efficient operation, and the optimized pressure progressions ensure low pump flow and pressure pulsations in the machines¡¯ hydraulic system. This, combined with a compact force guide inside the pump, reduces noise emissions to meet the ever stricter workplace regulations.
